Our Mikvaot

A keilim mikvah and a men’s mikvah on our campus, and a women’s mikvah on the way.

Tevilat Keilim

Keilim Mikvah

The Harari Keilim Mikveh is on the Mishkan Torah campus at 5552 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356, and it is open to the community throughout the day. It serves families from Tarzana, Encino, Calabasas, Northridge and the surrounding neighborhoods.

What is tevilat keilim? New food utensils made of metal or glass that come from a non-Jewish manufacturer or seller are immersed in a mikvah before they are first used. If you are not sure whether an item needs tevilah, or whether to make a bracha, please ask one of our Rabbanim.

Before Pesach the campus is especially busy: alongside the keilim mikvah, the Kollel offers toveling and kashering of dishes, utensils and appliances.

For Men

Men’s Mikvah

Our men’s mikvah is also on the Mishkan Torah campus at 5552 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356.

No appointment is needed. Just let us know about what time you are coming, and we will make sure it is open for you: call 818.705.4926 or email mishkantorah@valleykollel.com.

A Women’s Mikvah for the West Valley

B’chasdei Hashem, the Kollel’s women’s mikvah project is under construction in Tarzana, within walking distance of the community. As our community continues to grow, the new mikvah will serve Tarzana and the neighboring West Valley communities with an elegant, modern setting for this beautiful and timeless mitzvah.

Your gift to the Women’s Mikvah Building Fund helps bring this mikvah to completion, for the community and from the community.
