This website is operated by Valley Community Kollel (Mishkan Torah), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID 61-1424774), 5552 Reseda Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356.
We collect only what you choose to give us: when you donate, your name, email, phone, gift amount, designation and any dedication you enter; when you contact us, send a Simcha Hall inquiry, or ask to join the Weekly Bulletin, the details you enter in that form (such as your name, email, phone and message). Website forms are delivered by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service: contact messages and bulletin sign-ups go to the Kollel office, and Simcha Hall inquiries go to our hall manager. This website itself does not store them.
Donations are processed by PayPal. Your card or bank details are entered on PayPal’s secure site and are never seen or stored by the Kollel or this website. If you enter your name and email on our donation form, they are passed to PayPal to pre-fill checkout. PayPal shares with us the information needed to record and acknowledge your gift (such as your name, email, amount, designation and dedication). PayPal’s handling of your data is governed by the PayPal Privacy Statement.
We use your information to process and acknowledge your gift, provide tax receipts, list dedications in the Weekly Bulletin when you ask us to, answer your questions and inquiries, and send the Weekly Bulletin if you subscribe.
We do not sell, rent or trade donor or contact information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as PayPal, FormSubmit for website forms, our website host, and our email provider), or when required by law.
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) in server logs used for security and reliability. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information; see the Google Privacy Policy.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not track visitors over time or across other websites. Because we do not track you, the site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps, and PayPal pages are operated by PayPal; those services have their own privacy policies.
To stop receiving the Weekly Bulletin, reply to any bulletin email or contact us, and we will remove you.
We keep donation records for as long as needed for tax, legal and accounting purposes. We keep messages, Simcha Hall inquiries and bulletin sign-ups only as long as needed to respond to you or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
